Reports loss of Rs 384 crore


'

Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of UPL has increased 1.16% to Rs 9067 croredriven by 16% increase in volumes, 14% decline in price and a negative 1% forex impact. Seeds business faced headwinds on account of weather challenges that impacted production, created inventory shortages and supply constraints, leading to a revenue drop of 7% and EBITDA drop of 30% YoY

Sales of Non Agro segment has gone down 4.48% to Rs 597.00 crore (accounting for 6.53% of total sales).  Sales of Crop Protection segment rose 2.61% to Rs 7,538.00 crore (accounting for 82.42% of total sales).  Sales of Seeds Business segment has gone down 7.33% to Rs 1,011.00 crore (accounting for 11.05% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 108.00 crore to Rs 81.00 crore.
