Expects to close FY24 with an order intake of Rs 20000 crore

Bharat Electronics hosted a conference call on Oct 31, 2023. In the conference call the company was represented by Bhanu Prakash Srivastava, Chairman and Managing Director; Damodar Bhattad S, Director Finance and CFO and Sreenivas S, Company Secretary.

Key takeaways of the call

Order book of the company as on Oct 1, 2023 stood at Rs 68728 crore. Export order book currently stood at Rs 2500 crore.

The company expects to receive orders worth Rs 20000 crore in FY2024, of which the company has already received orders of about Rs 15300 crore. Of the order intake of Rs 15300 crore till date for current fiscal were mostly defence orders.

The company expects orders worth around Rs 4000 crore for fuses, Rs 2,500 crore for next generation offshore patrol vessels (NGOPV), Rs 3,000 crore for BMP tank upgrade and Rs, 2,000 crore order for EW systems. Management expects to close these orders by...
