'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of High Energy Batteries (India) for the quarter ended Jun 2022 has increased 36.56% to Rs 14.68 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 25.58% to 28.75%, leading to 53.45% rise in operating profit to Rs 4.22 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 33.60% to 45.56%. Employee cost decreased from 28.17% to 19.32%. Other expenses fell from 14.17% to 13.82%. Power and Oil fuel cost rose from 1.66% to 1.72%. Other income fell 60% to Rs 0.02 crore. PBIDT rose 51.43% to Rs 4.24 crore. Provision for interest fell 30.11% to Rs 0.65 crore. PBDT rose 91.98% to Rs 3.59 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 3.57% to Rs 0.29 crore. Profit before tax grew 107.55% to Rs 3.30 crore.
