Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of High Energy Batteries (India) for the quarter ended Dec 2021 has declined 18.83% to Rs 16.68 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 32.02% to 32.73%, leading to 17.02% decline in operating profit to Rs 5.46 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 35.46% to 35.51%. Employee cost increased from 18.02% to 20.76%. Other expenses fell from 11.85% to 10.92%. Power and Oil fuel cost rose from 1.48% to 1.50%. Other income up 400% to Rs 0.05 crore. PBIDT fell 16.39% to Rs 5.51 crore. Provision for interest fell 31.20% to Rs 0.86 crore. PBDT fell 12.92% to Rs 4.65 crore. Profit before tax down 13.64% to Rs 4.37 crore. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 1.15 crore, compared to Rs 0.88 crore.
