Eying pan-India presence


 Dalmia Bharat (DBL), with a total cement capacity of 49.5 mtpa and clinker capacity of 23.5 mtpa, and power capacity of 597MW, is the fourth largest cement company in India, with a market share by capacity of around 7%. Its existing capacities are in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka in the southern regions, while it has a presence in Odisha, West Bengal, and Jharkhand and Bihar in the eastern region and in Assam and Meghalayain the North-East. Most of the limestone requirements are met through captive mines. The distribution network comprises more than 49,300 dealers and sub-dealers, significantly supporting on-ground sales.

The retail mix has been 63%-65% in the last three fiscal years through FY2025. The share of premium products increased to 23% in FY2025from 11% in FY2019.

DBL is setting up three mtpa green-field capacities at Pune, Maharashtra, three mtpa brownfield grinding capacity, and 3.6 mtpa clinker capacities at Belgaum...
