Deepak Nitrite held a conference call on 15 November 2025 to discuss the results for the quarter ended September 2025 and way forward. Mr. Maulik Mehta, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Sanjay Upadhyay – Director, Finance & Group CFO and Mr. Somsekhar Nanda –CFO of the company addressed the call.

Highlights of the Concall

  • The operating environment remains complex due to pricing pressures, tariffs, geopolitical issues, and volatile interest rates.

  • Phenolics business delivered a strong sequential performance, with 2% higher revenue and 23% higher EBIT. Growth was driven by higher throughput particularly record quarterly production and sales of isopropyl alcohol led by better product mix, and lower feedstock prices, which supported profitability.

  • Advanced Intermediates segment faced severe headwinds from US tariffs, increased dumping, and underpricing of imports. While the company managed to maintain volumes by pivo...
