Net up 73% on good operating show


'Net sales (including other operating income) of WPIL for the quarter ended Dec 2025  has increased 41.17% to Rs 538.72 crore.  


Operating profit margin has jumped from 12.61% to 20.91%, leading to 134.11% rise in operating profit to Rs 112.63 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 27.71% to 21.95%.   Employee cost decreased from 15.14% to 15.12%.   Other expenses fell from 44.85% to 41.55%.   Contract job process charges fell from 31.50% to 27.12%.   

Other income rose 20.45% to Rs 13.37 crore.  PBIDT rose 112.80% to Rs 126 crore.  Provision for interest rose 1.70% to Rs 11.35 crore.  

PBDT rose 138.61% to Rs 114.65 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 22.90% to Rs 10.25 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 162.91% to Rs 104.40 crore.  Share of profit/loss was 17.91% lower at Rs 4....
