Voltas

Net jumps 107% driven by unitary cooling products


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Voltas for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has increased 13.44% to Rs 4767.56 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 4.53% to 6.98%, leading to 74.61% rise in operating profit to Rs 332.78 crore.  

Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 47.11% to 54.11%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 32.61% to 23.06%.   Employee cost increased from 4.87% to 4.88%.   Other expenses fell from 10.76% to 10.52%.   
Other income rose 46.44% to Rs 79.69 crore.  PBIDT rose 68.36% to Rs 412.47 crore.  Provision for interest rose 11.98% to Rs 23.28 crore.  PBDT rose 73.58% to Rs 389.19 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 18.97% to Rs 14.05 crore.  Profit before tax grew 76.62% to Rs 375.14 crore.  Share of profit/loss was 16.57% higher at Rs -31.97 crore.  Pro...
