Voltamp Transformers

Net up 56% on strong operating show


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Voltamp Transformers for the quarter ended Jun 2024 has increased 32.89% to Rs 428.15 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 14.89% to 17.70%, leading to 57.93% rise in operating profit to Rs 75.79 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 76.04% to 72.23%.   Employee cost increased from 3.27% to 3.30%.   Other expenses fell from 7.41% to 6.23%.   

Other income up 25.01% to Rs 28.79 crore.  PBIDT rose 47.25% to Rs 104.58 crore.  Provision for interest up 45.83% to Rs 0.35 crore.  

PBDT rose 47.26% to Rs 104.23 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 28.02% to Rs 2.97 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 47.91% to Rs 101.26 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 21.82 crore, compared to Rs 17.68 crore.  Effective tax rate was 21.55% compare...
