Volume led growth


'Net sales (including other operating income) of UPL has increased 10.62% to Rs 15573 crore led by 11% volume growth and robust performance across all businesses.  Sales of Non Agro segment has gone up 9.82% to Rs 682.00 crore (accounting for 4.37% of total sales).  Sales of Crop Protection segment rose 7.82% to Rs 13,374.00 crore (accounting for 85.73% of total sales).  Sales of Seeds Business segment has gone up 36.73% to Rs 1,545.00 crore (accounting for 9.90% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 78.00 crore to Rs 28.00 crore. 

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 123.96% to Rs 2,898.00 crore.  PBIT of Non Agro segment rose 90.91% to Rs 63.00 crore (accounting for 2.17% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Crop Protection segment rose 116.92% to Rs 2,423....
