Strong bounce back


'Net sales (including other operating income) of UPL has increased 10.32% to Rs 10907 crore.  Sales of Non Agro segment has gone down 2.88% to Rs 505.00 crore (accounting for 4.61% of total sales).  Sales of Crop Protection segment rose 11.07% to Rs 9,434.00 crore (accounting for 86.17% of total sales).  Sales of Seeds Business segment has gone up 8.38% to Rs 1,009.00 crore (accounting for 9.22% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 58.00 crore to Rs 41.00 crore. 

PBIT of Non Agro segment fell 61.43% to Rs 27.00 crore (accounting for 1.68% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Crop Protection reported profit of Rs 1,417.00 crore compared to loss of Rs 545.00 crore.  PBIT of Seeds Business segment rose 14.69% to Rs 164.00 crore (accounting for 10.20% of total PBIT).
