Net sales (including other operating income) of Tata Consumer Products has increased 17.35% to Rs 4608.22 crore. Sales of Branded Business segment has gone up 16.94% to Rs 4,130.40 crore (accounting for 89.19% of total sales). Sales of Non Branded Business segment has gone up 24.67% to Rs 500.55 crore (accounting for 10.81% of total sales). Inter-segment sales rose Rs 23.50 crore to Rs 30.84 crore.
Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 11.37% to Rs 510.88 crore. PBIT of Branded Business segment fell 17.66% to Rs 398.92 crore (accounting for 78.08% of total PBIT). PBIT of Non Branded Business segment rose 21.78% to Rs 111.96 crore (accounting for 21.92% of total PBIT).
