'For quarter ending June 2024, consolidated Net sales (including other operating income) of Syngene International has declined 2.28% to Rs 789.7 crore compared to quarter ended June 2023.Operating profit margin has declined from 26.22% to 21.50%, leading to 19.87% decline in operating profit to Rs 169.80 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 27.26% to 23.20%. Employee cost increased from 26.77% to 31.75%. Other expenses rose from 19.63% to 21.61%.
Other income fell 23.31% to Rs 18.1 crore. PBIDT fell 20.21% to Rs 187.9 crore. Provision for interest rose 11.43% to Rs 11.7 crore.
PBDT fell 21.69% to Rs 176.2 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 4.70% to Rs 106.9 crore.
