ventured into the development, manufacturing, and marketing of rare earth
magnet-free traction motors for electric vehicles. To support this initiative,
the company has signed a technology licensing agreement with Advanced Electric
Machines (AEM), UK, for manufacturing these motors at its Faridabad facility. Advanced
Electric Machines was founded in 2017, when it was spun out from Newcastle
University’s world-class electric motor research team, led by AEM’s CEO, Dr
