PAT down 9.65%


'For the quarter ending Dec 2023, standalone Net sales (including other operating income) of Steelcast has declined 24.57% to Rs 90.31 crore compared to quarter ended Dec 2022.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 25.61% to 30.26%, leading to 10.86% decline in operating profit to Rs 27.33 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 27.88% to 21.34%.   Employee cost increased from 7.75% to 11.55%.   Other expenses fell from 39.15% to 36.29%.   Stores consumed for sales rose from 12.48% to 12.87%.   Power and Oil fuel cost fell from 13.79% to 8.66%.   Other direct service cost rose from 8.97% to 10.76%.   

Other income up 628.57% to Rs 0.51 crore.  PBIDT fell 9.40% to Rs 27.84 crore.  Provision for interest fell 98.15% to Rs 0.01 crore.
