Sona BLW Precision Forgings

NP jumped 26.7%


'For quarter ending June 2024, consolidated Net sales (including other operating income) of Sona BLW Precision Forgings has increased 21.85% to Rs 891.18 crore compared to quarter ended June 2023.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 27.70% to 27.98%, leading to 23.06% rise in operating profit to Rs 249.31 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 43.76% to 42.74%.   Employee cost increased from 6.64% to 8.50%.   Other expenses fell from 22.22% to 20.90%.   

Other income rose 43.25% to Rs 8.81 crore.  PBIDT rose 23.65% to Rs 258.12 crore.  Provision for interest rose 61.42% to Rs 8.62 crore.  

PBDT rose 22.66% to Rs 249.5 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 18.74% to Rs 60.63 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 23.97% to Rs 188.87 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods.  Provisi...
