Net down 40% on weak operating show

Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Rail Vikas Nigam for the quarter ended Jun 2025 has declined 4.05% to Rs 3908.77 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 4.46% to 1.35%, leading to 70.87% decline in operating profit to Rs 52.88 crore.  Employee cost increased from 1.15% to 1.28%.   Other expenses rose from 94.39% to 97.37%.   Other direct service cost rose from 93.14% to 94.55%.   

Other income fell 13.22% to Rs 228.19 crore.  PBIDT fell 36.76% to Rs 281.07 crore.  Provision for interest fell 21.24% to Rs 108.17 crore.  

PBDT fell 43.71% to Rs 172.9 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 28.59% to Rs 8.86 crore.  

Profit before tax down 45.37% to Rs 164.04 crore.  Share of profit/loss was 588.97% higher at Rs 9.37 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 39.05 crore, compared to Rs 77.69 cro...
