Net sales (including other operating income) of Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care has increased 1.14% to Rs 1,261.90 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped from 29.73% to 31.84%, leading to 8.32% rise in operating profit to Rs 401.80 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 15.80% to 16.29%. Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 19.65% to 17.16%. Employee cost decreased from 5.28% to 4.89%. Other expenses rose from 29.65% to 29.83%. Selling and administration expenses fell from 12.64% to 11.53%.
Other income up 27.81% to Rs 12.41 crore. PBIDT rose 8.82% to Rs 414.21 crore. Provision for interest fell 59.67% to Rs 2.67 crore.
