Precision Wires India

Sales up 19%, net up 35%


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Precision Wires India for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has increased 19.28% to Rs 1,054.38 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 4.89% to 5.61%, leading to 36.77% rise in operating profit to Rs 59.14 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 90.20% to 89.29%.   Employee cost decreased from 1.27% to 1.26%.   Other expenses rose from 3.62% to 3.78%.   Power and Oil fuel cost rose from 0.88% to 0.97%.   

PBIDT rose 36.77% to Rs 59.14 crore.  Provision for interest up 46.15% to Rs 13.46 crore.   PBDT rose 34.23% to Rs 45.68 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 30.84% to Rs 6.11 crore.   Profit before tax grew 34.78% to Rs 39.57 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 9.99 crore, compared to Rs 7.44 crore.  Effective tax rate was 25.25% compared to 2...
