Power Finance Corporation

Steady loan growth at 10%, stable asset quality


'Power Finance Corporation has reported 23% growth in the net profit to Rs 4154.92 crore in the quarter ended December 2024 (Q3FY2025). Net Interest Income (NII) of the company increased 13% to Rs 4694 crore, while the company has exhibited an improvement in asset quality in Q3FY2025.

The company has showed improvement in Net Interest Margin (NIM) to 3.65% in Q3FY2025 from 3.57% in the preceding quarter. The interest spreads of the company were steady at 2.60% in Q3FY2025 from 2.61% in the preceding quarter and improved from 2.55% in the corresponding quarter last year.

Quarterly performance

The company has posted 10% increase in Income from operations at Rs 12417.22 crore in the quarter ended December 2024. Other income improved 21% to Rs 635.31 crore. Total income increased 10% to Rs 13052.53 crore in the quarter ended December 2024. The interest expense increased 8% to Rs 7723.05 crore.
