Pennar Industries

Net up 21% largely as OPM expand by 150 bps and lower interest

Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Pennar Industries for the quarter ended Jun 2024 has declined 2.06% to Rs 733.45 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 8.27% to 9.76%, leading to 15.57% rise in operating profit to Rs 71.57 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 63.05% to 59.76%.   Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 0.57% to 0.75%.   Employee cost decreased from 10.31% to 10.28%.   Other expenses rose from 18.15% to 19.52%.   

Other income fell 36.90% to Rs 7.44 crore.  PBIDT rose 7.18% to Rs 79.01 crore.  Provision for interest fell 2.91% to Rs 27.04 crore.  

PBDT rose 13.30% to Rs 51.97 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 0.73% to Rs 16.54 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 20.31% to Rs 35.43 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in bot...
