PCBL Chemical

'Net sales (including other operating income) of PCBL Chemical has increased 8.23% to Rs 2087.49 crore.  Sales of Carbon Black segment has gone up 1.30% to Rs 1,667.44 crore (accounting for 78.78% of total sales).  Sales of Power segment has gone up 4.94% to Rs 74.19 crore (accounting for 3.51% of total sales).  Sales of Chemical segment rose 56.87% to Rs 375.02 crore (accounting for 17.72% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales rose Rs 27.03 crore to Rs 29.16 crore. 

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 6.95% to Rs 277.67 crore.  PBIT of Carbon Black segment fell 17.12% to Rs 215.03 crore (accounting for 77.44% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Power segment fell 7.98% to Rs 43.34 crore (accounting for 15.61% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Chemical reported prof...
