Patanjali Foods

PAT jumps 199.6%


'For the quarter ending June 2024, standalone Net sales (including other operating income) of Patanjali Foods has declined 7.65% to Rs 7,173.06 crore compared to quarter ended June 2023. Sales of Oils segment has gone down 9.51% to Rs 5,330.33 crore (accounting for 73.04% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales rose Rs 93.30 crore to Rs 125.15 crore.  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 77.40% to Rs 368.09 crore.  PBIT of Oils reported profit of Rs 193.79 crore compared to loss of Rs 146.61 crore.  PBIT of Food Products segment fell 50.41% to Rs 173.85 crore (accounting for 47.23% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Wind Turbine Power Generation segment fell 87.45% to Rs 0.44 crore (accounting for 0.12% of total PBIT).  

PBIT margin of Oils segment rose from negative 2.49% to 3.64%.  Overall PBIT margin rose from 2.64% to 5.04%.
