Sales up 7%, net up 67%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of LMW for the quarter ended Sep 2025 has increased 6.88% to Rs 821.88 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 4.19% to 5.36%, leading to 36.59% rise in operating profit to Rs 44.05 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 60.97% to 62.52%.   Employee cost decreased from 13.48% to 11.95%.   Other expenses fell from 21.28% to 20.19%.   

Other income rose 38.19% to Rs 41.03 crore.  PBIDT rose 37.36% to Rs 85.08 crore.  Provision for interest remained nil.  PBDT rose 37.36% to Rs 85.08 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 7.18% to Rs 30.16 crore.  Profit before tax grew 62.49% to Rs 54.92 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 14 crore, compared to Rs 9.34 crore.  Effective tax rate was 25.49% co...
