Net sales (including other operating income) of L G Balakrishnan & Bros has increased 12.75% to Rs 676.9 crore. Sales of Formed Metal & Assembled Products segment has gone up 22.46% to Rs 148.47 crore (accounting for 21.93% of total sales). Sales of Transmission segment has gone up 10.29% to Rs 528.43 crore (accounting for 78.07% of total sales).
Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 2.98% to Rs 105.61 crore. PBIT of Formed Metal & Assembled Products segment fell 31.91% to Rs 12.11 crore (accounting for 11.46% of total PBIT). PBIT of Transmission segment rose 10.29% to Rs 93.51 crore (accounting for 88.54% of total PBIT).
