Net sales (including other operating income) of L G Balakrishnan & Bros has increased 10.13% to Rs 660.93 crore. Sales of Formed Metal & Assembled Products segment has gone up 16.90% to Rs 142.09 crore (accounting for 21.50% of total sales). Sales of Transmission segment has gone up 8.42% to Rs 518.84 crore (accounting for 78.50% of total sales).
Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 5.49% to Rs 106.39 crore. PBIT of Formed Metal & Assembled Products segment rose 19.32% to Rs 15.44 crore (accounting for 14.52% of total PBIT). PBIT of Transmission segment rose 3.45% to Rs 90.94 crore (accounting for 85.48% of total PBIT).
