Sales up 16%, net up 24%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of KEI Industries for the quarter ended Jun 2024 has increased 15.59% to Rs 2060.5 crore.  


Operating profit margin has jumped from 10% to 10.41%, leading to 20.36% rise in operating profit to Rs 214.56 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 76.13% to 76.63%.   Employee cost decreased from 3.46% to 3.16%.   Other expenses rose from 10.91% to 10.94%.   Expenses from contract rose from 1.39% to 1.67%.   

Other income rose 114.29% to Rs 17.85 crore.  PBIDT rose 24.55% to Rs 232.41 crore.  Provision for interest rose 58.39% to Rs 14.16 crore.  

PBDT rose 22.85% to Rs 218.25 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 5.73% to Rs 15.5 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 24.39% to Rs 202.75 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in bot...
