Kansai Nerolac Paints

Gradual recovery in overall decorative demand


'Net sales (including other operating income) of Kansai Nerolac Paints has increased 2.67% to Rs 1816.65 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 10.12% to 9.12%, leading to 7.42% decline in operating profit to Rs 165.72 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 60.13% to 59.59%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 6.76% to 6.37%.   Employee cost increased from 6.31% to 7.12%.   Other expenses rose from 17.05% to 17.94%.  

Other income rose 14.02% to Rs 37.09 crore.  PBIDT fell 4.13% to Rs 202.81 crore.  Provision for interest rose 9.54% to Rs 7.69 crore.  Loan funds rose to Rs 296.39 crore as of 31 March 2025 from Rs 276.42 crore as of 31 March 2024.  I...
