Net sales (including other operating income) of K P R Mill has declined 4.04%
to Rs 1467.42 crore. Sales of Textile segment has gone up 1.39% to
Rs 1,238.52 crore (accounting for 83.62% of total sales). Sales of
Sugar segment has gone down 21.82% to Rs 220.85 crore (accounting for 14.91% of
total sales). Sales of Other segment fell 13.85% to Rs 21.70 crore
(accounting for 1.47% of total sales). Inter-segment sales rose Rs
0.01 crore to Rs 13.65 crore.
Profit before interest,
tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 3.58% to Rs 240.30
crore. PBIT of Textile segment fell 4.96% to Rs 218.27 crore
(accounting for 90.83% of total PBIT). PBIT of Sugar segment rose
11.26% to Rs 20.94 crore (accounting for 8.71% of total PBIT). PBIT
