JSW Steel

Expect consolidated capex for FY25 to be Rs 16,000-17,000 crore


'Net sales (including other operating income) of JSW Steel have declined 10.99% to Rs 39684 crore.  Operating profit margin has dropped from 17.69% to 13.70%, leading to a 31.06% decline in operating profit to Rs 5,437.00 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 51.31% to 54.02%.   The purchase of finished goods cost fell from 0.41% to 0.29%.   Employee costs increased from 2.62% to 3.00%.   Other expenses rose from 26.83% to 29.33%.   Power and Oil fuel costs rose from 9.13% to 9.56%. Other direct service costs rose from 4.34% to 4.44%.  

The Company registered operating EBITDA of Rs 5,437 crores, with an EBITDA margin of 13.7% during the quarter. The EBITDA reduced by 1% QoQ as a sharp ...
