JSW Energy

Sales up 60%, OP up 78%, net down 17%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of JSW Energy for the quarter ended Sep 2025 has increased 59.91% to Rs 5177.42 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 52.04% to 57.88%. Employee cost increased from 3.55% to 3.69%.   Other expenses fell from 44.41% to 38.43%.   Power and Oil fuel cost fell from 35.59% to 27.44%. Thus operating profit was up   77.85% rise  to Rs 2,996.46 crore primarily driven by organic renewable capacity additions and contribution from Mahanadi and O2 Power.    

Other income fell 17.18% to Rs 183.65 crore.  PBIDT rose 66.79% to Rs 3180.11 crore.  Provision for interest rose 173.51% to Rs 1417.56 crore.  PBDT rose 26.96% to Rs 1762.55 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 106.48% to Rs 809.02 crore.  Profit before tax down 4.31% to Rs 953.53 crore.  

Share of profit/loss was 76.72% lower at Rs 1.96 crore. &...
