'Consolidated
net sales (including other operating income) of Jindal Steel & Power has
increased 8.18% to Rs 13617.84 crore.
Share of exports is 7% in Q1FY25. The production and sales stood at 2.05
mt (flat yoy) and 2.09 mt (+14% yoy) respectively.
Operating
profit margin has declined from 20.88% to 20.85%, leading to 8.04% rise in
operating profit to Rs 2,839.32 crore.
Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments)
increased from 39.68% to 46.81%.
Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 5.40% to 3.54%. Other expenses fell from 32.69% to
26.60%. Preoperation capitalised
expenses rose from 0.53% to 0.84%.
Other
income fell 37.62% to Rs 34.49 crore.
PBIDT rose 7.10% to Rs 2873.81 crore.
