Ingersoll-Rand (India)

Net up 6% on good operating show


'Net sales (including other operating income) of Ingersoll-Rand (India) for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has increased 7.91% to Rs 322.34 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 24.62% to 25.89%, leading to 13.50% rise in operating profit to Rs 83.46 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 53.89% to 54.55%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 1.85% to 1.81%.   Employee cost decreased from 10.19% to 8.24%.   Other expenses rose from 9.17% to 10.25%.   

Other income fell 27.26% to Rs 11.5 crore.  PBIDT rose 6.29% to Rs 94.96 crore.  Provision for interest up 18.03% to Rs 0.72 crore.   PBDT rose 6.21% to Rs 94.24 crore.  Provision for depreciation down 4.68% to Rs 4.07 crore.   Profit before tax grew 6.76% to Rs 90.17 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 22.51 crore, compared to Rs 20.59 crore. ...
