Indraprastha Gas

Sales volume increase 5% in Q1FY25

Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Indraprastha Gas has increased 3.33% to Rs 3520.6 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 18.85% to 16.48%, leading to 9.66% decline in operating profit to Rs 580.31 crore.  Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 68.49% to 70.50%.   Employee cost decreased from 1.49% to 1.47%.   Other expenses rose from 11.15% to 11.55%.   

Other income rose 58.48% to Rs 72.36 crore.  PBIDT fell 5.14% to Rs 652.67 crore.  Provision for interest fell 6.33% to Rs 2.22 crore.  

PBDT fell 5.14% to Rs 650.45 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 15.67% to Rs 114.43 crore.  

Profit before tax down 8.64% to Rs 536.02 crore.  Share of profit/loss was 3.37% lower at Rs 80.77 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 136.57 crore, compared to Rs 148.34 crore.  Effecti...
