Net sales (including other operating income) of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism
Corporation has increased 9.51% to Rs 1224.66 crore. Sales of
Catering segment has gone up 9.27% to Rs 554.81 crore (accounting for 45.16% of
total sales). Sales of Rail neer segment has gone up 15.03% to Rs
96.36 crore (accounting for 7.84% of total sales). Sales of Internet
Ticketing segment rose 5.49% to Rs 353.72 crore (accounting for 28.79% of total
sales). Sales of Tourism segment has gone up 16.13% to Rs 223.73
crore (accounting for 18.21% of total sales). Inter-segment sales
came down from Rs 4.02 crore to Rs 3.97 crore.
Profit before interest,
tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 10.49% to Rs 416.70
