Honeywell Automation India

Net down 6% on lower sales


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Honeywell Automation India for the quarter ended Sep 2024 has declined 7.27% to Rs 1,023.90 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 12.52% to 12.60%, leading to 6.72% decline in operating profit to Rs 129.00 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 42.28% to 50.56%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 18.67% to 11.36%.   Employee cost increased from 15.75% to 17.48%.   Other expenses fell from 10.68% to 8.04%.   

Other income up 2.74% to Rs 41.2 crore.  PBIDT fell 4.60% to Rs 170.2 crore.  Provision for interest up 100% to Rs 1.4 crore.  PBDT fell 5.01% to Rs 168.8 crore.  Provision for depreciation down 2.17% to Rs 13.5 crore.   Profit before tax down 5.25% to Rs 155.30 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 40.2 crore, compared to Rs 42 cror...
