Godrej Properties

Net down 29% on lower OPM, higher share of loss from associates and higher taxation


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Godrej Properties for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has increased 48.78% to Rs 2121.73 crore.  Sales of Real Estate segment has gone up 49.01% to Rs 2,089.79 crore (accounting for 98.49% of total sales).  Sales of Hospitality segment has gone up 34.94% to Rs 31.94 crore (accounting for 1.51% of total sales).  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 5.68% to Rs 566.88 crore.  PBIT of Real Estate segment fell 6.09% to Rs 560.10 crore (accounting for 98.80% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Hospitality segment rose 48.36% to Rs 6.78 crore (accounting for 1.20% of total PBIT).  

PBIT margin of Real Estate segment fell from 42.53% to 26.80%.  PBIT margin of Hospitality segment rose from 19.31% to 21.23%.  Overall PBIT margin fell from 42.14% to 26.72%.  

Operating profit margin has declined from 8.61% to 5....
