Gateway Distriparks

net down 18% on weak operating show and higher taxation


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Gateway Distriparks for the quarter ended Sep 2024 has declined 2.14% to Rs 389.99 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 25.90% to 24.75%, leading to 6.50% decline in operating profit to Rs 96.52 crore.  Employee cost increased from 4.75% to 5.08%.   Other expenses rose from 69.35% to 70.17%.   Other direct service cost rose from 62.32% to 64.12%.   

Other income rose 58.48% to Rs 4.58 crore.  PBIDT fell 4.73% to Rs 101.1 crore.  Provision for interest fell 8.03% to Rs 10.65 crore.  PBDT fell 4.33% to Rs 90.45 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 10.91% to Rs 25.62 crore.   Profit before tax down 9.25% to Rs 64.83 crore.  Share of profit/loss was 75.76% lower at Rs 0.32 crore.  Provision for tax was debit of Rs 5.01 crore, compared to credit of Rs 0.74 crore.  Effective tax rate was 7....
