declined 17.28% to Rs 347.9 crore. Sales
of Synthetic segment has gone down 19.98% to Rs 280.75 crore (accounting for
79.15% of total sales). Sales of Fiber
& Industrial segment has gone down 5.71% to Rs 73.97 crore (accounting for
20.85% of total sales). Inter-segment
sales came down from Rs 8.71 crore to Rs 6.82 crore.
Profit
before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 41.78% to
Rs 54.61 crore.
PBIT of Synthetic
segment fell 56.04% to Rs 35.07 crore (accounting for 64.22% of total PBIT). PBIT of Fiber & Industrial segment rose
39.42% to Rs 19.54 crore (accounting for 35.78% of total PBIT).
