NP increased 54.01% mainly due to one-time tax impact

Quarter ended September 2024 compared with Quarter ended September 2023.

Net sales (including other operating income) of Escorts Kubota has increased 0.44% to Rs 2488.49 crore.  Sales of Agri Machinery Products segment has gone up 34.81% to Rs 1,896.52 crore (accounting for 76.24% of total sales).  Sales of Railway Equipments segment fell 9.86% to Rs 211.24 crore (accounting for 8.49% of total sales).  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has slumped 5.67% to Rs 238.91 crore.  PBIT of Agri Machinery Products segment rose 2.37% to Rs 171.53 crore (accounting for 71.80% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Railway Equipments segment fell 25.61% to Rs 32.18 crore (accounting for 13.47% of total PBIT).  

PBIT margin of Agri Machinery Products segment fell from 11.91% to 9.04%.  PBIT margin of Railway Equipments segment fell from 18.46% to 15.23%...
