'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Esab India for the quarter ended Jun 2024 has increased 10.51% to Rs 329.61 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 19.38% to 18.83%, leading to 7.41% rise in operating profit to Rs 62.07 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 47.80% to 43.53%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 12.60% to 15.48%. Employee cost increased from 8.33% to 8.45%. Other expenses rose from 11.89% to 13.98%.
Other income fell 51.98% to Rs 1.21 crore. PBIDT rose 4.92% to Rs 63.28 crore. Provision for interest up 22.22% to Rs 0.11 crore.
