Indian economy has demonstrated strong resilience with GDP growth of 8.2% in Q2FY2026 despite geopolitical headwinds. RBI forecast’s GDP growth of 7.3% for FY2026. India became the fourth largest economy in the world and is the fastest growing major economy.

The cement sector benefits from government infrastructure investments and capacity building, with Q3 cement demand growing 7-8% YoY and is expected to grow 6% yoy for the full year FY26. The sector started witnessing improved demand environment with the end of monsoon and the festive.
