Cummins India

Net up 36% on good operating show


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Cummins India for the quarter ended Sep 2024 has increased 30.55% to Rs 2508.6 crore.  


Operating profit margin has jumped from 18.02% to 19.29%, leading to 39.79% rise in operating profit to Rs 483.94 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 56.77% to 59.15%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 6.82% to 6.10%.   Employee cost decreased from 10.14% to 7.64%.   Other expenses fell from 8.60% to 8.52%.   Other income rose 17.27% to Rs 105.31 crore.  PBIDT rose 35.15% to Rs 589.25 crore.  Provision for interest fell 62.17% to Rs 2.58 crore.   PBDT rose 36.70% to Rs 586.67 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 17.51% to Rs 44.96 crore.   Profit before tax grew 38.58% to Rs 541.71 crore.
