Net sales (including other operating income) of Colgate-Palmolive (India) has increased 10.06% to Rs 1,619.11 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 32.77% to 30.72%, leading to 3.16% rise in operating profit to Rs 497.35 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 25.48% to 27.12%. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 4.85% to 5.33%. Employee cost decreased from 7.31% to 7.20%. Other expenses rose from 29.16% to 30.07%. Selling and administration expenses rose from 14.19% to 14.77%.
