'For quarter ending June 2024, standalone Net sales (including other operating income) of Colgate-Palmolive (India) has increased 13.07% to Rs 1,496.71 crore compared to quarter ended June 2023. Operating profit margin has jumped from 31.59% to 33.96%, leading to 21.58% rise in operating profit to Rs 508.34 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 27.48% to 26.47%. Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 4.42% to 3.84%. Employee cost increased from 7.20% to 7.40%. Other expenses fell from 29.46% to 28.78%. Selling and administration expenses fell from 13.63% to 13.12%.
Other income up 56.31% to Rs 23.4 crore. PBIDT rose 22.78% to Rs 531.74 crore. Provision for interest fell 8.41% to Rs 0.98 crore.
PBDT rose 22.86% to Rs 530.76 crore. Provision for depreciation down 5.14% to Rs 41.51 crore.
