to Rs 37824.54 crore.
Operating profit margin
has jumped from 29.80% to 31.17%, leading to 3.54% rise in operating profit to
Rs 11,790.15 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of
stock adjustments) increased from 8.17% to 8.51%. Employee cost
decreased from 32.89% to 29.54%. Other expenses rose from 31.27% to
33.15%. Expenses from contract rose from 19.41% to 23.21%.
Other direct service cost fell from 1.80% to 1.37%.
Other income rose 75.45%
to Rs 3937.22 crore. PBIDT rose 15.37% to Rs 15727.37 crore. Provision
for interest rose 3.86% to Rs 241.14 crore. Loan funds rose to Rs
