to Rs 35779.78 crore.
Operating profit margin
has declined from 35.88% to 34.43%, leading to 5.04% decline in operating
profit to Rs 12,317.24 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total
sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 7.35% to 7.90%.
Employee cost decreased from 31.48% to 30.85%. Other
expenses rose from 25.89% to 27.38%. Expenses from contract rose
from 19.71% to 23.38%. Other direct service cost rose from 2.81% to
5.26%.
Other income fell 2.73%
to Rs 2143.2 crore. PBIDT fell 4.70% to Rs 14460.44 crore. Provision
for interest fell 0.54% to Rs 225.54 crore.
