'Net sales (including other operating income) of CMS Info Systems has increased 17.18% to Rs 599.43 crore. Operating
profit margin has declined from 28.85% to 25.40%, leading to 3.17% rise in
operating profit to Rs 152.28 crore. Purchase of finished goods cost rose from
4.48% to 10.27%. Employee cost increased from 14.33% to 14.45%. Other expenses
fell from 52.32% to 49.69%. Selling and administration expenses rose from
19.78% to 20.28%.
Other income rose 71.90% to
Rs 11.5 crore. PBIDT rose 6.15% to Rs 163.78 crore. Provision for interest fell
11.58% to Rs 3.74 crore. PBDT rose 6.65% to Rs 160.04 crore. Provision for
depreciation rose 6.57% to Rs 38.77 crore.
Profit before tax grew 6.68%
to Rs 121.27 crore. Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods. Provision
for tax was expense of Rs 30.48 crore, compared to Rs 29.4 crore. Effective tax
rate was 25.13% compared to 25.86%.
