Quarterly results in focus

The December 2023 quarterly results season will be in focus. Avenue Supermarts will declare its Q3 result on 13 January 2024. HDFC Bank and L&T Technology Services will declare their Q3 result on 16 January 2024. Asian Paints, LTIMindtree will unveil results on 17 January 2024. IndusInd Bank will declare its result on 18 January 2024. Hindustan Unilever, Hindustan Zinc, UltraTech Cement will announce their Q3 results on 19 January 2024.

In the near future, the upcoming budget session would be key event that the market would be looking for in January 2024. The truncated budget session will start from January 31 with the speech of President Droupadi Murmu, as per reports. The vote on accounts will be presented on February 1. With the Lok Sabha poll likely to happen in April-May this year, a new government will present a full budget in June, as per reports.
