profit margin has declined from 16.66% to 15.86%, leading to 1.73% decline in
operating profit to Rs 471.73 crore.
Raw
material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from
47.89% to 48.60%. Purchase of finished
goods cost rose from 8.36% to 8.61%.
Employee cost increased from 6.71% to 6.91%. Other expenses rose from 19.30% to
19.59%.
Other
income rose 6.86% to Rs 20.24 crore.
PBIDT fell 1.40% to Rs 491.97 crore.
Provision for interest fell 18.50% to Rs 15.99 crore.
